When booking LTL shipments through the Shipwell platform, you may encounter dispatch errors from the carrier when certain shipment details are considered invalid.
Typically, these errors are related to the pickup time for the shipment, and require you to verify that there is a large enough window between the current time and the time of pickup (for same-day pickups) or between the dock open and close time.
When you attempt to dispatch for LTL, the shipment’s details are run through the carrier’s system to validate all of the information.
If there is an error, you’ll see a popup like this with a message about the specific issue:
