Before Shipwell, MIT grads Greg Price and Jason Traff noticed a serious, universal problem: When it came to shipping, companies were disconnected. Relationships were detached. Different entities were working in silos and with poor data that arrived much too late. As a result, businesses were seeing that the logistics side of their operations was creating a huge drag on their ability to perform.
So Jason and Greg went to work on what they envisioned as the ultimate logistics solution: a technology that not only enabled shippers to access the most accurate data and most reliable capacity, but empowered them with a new competitive advantage.
