Two members of Shipwell's leadership team named Pros To Know for 2023

Shipwell is proud to announce that Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, named both Shipwell’s VP of Logistics, Chris Preboth, and VP of Product, Jerome Holbus as winners of the 2023 Pros to Know award!

The annual Pros to Know award recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage supply chain for competitive advantage.

Chris Preboth

As the VP of Shipwell Logistics, Chris Preboth has a passion for the balance of technology and human experience and believes that businesses should focus on delivering an efficient shipping experience for their customers. 

Specializing in helping businesses to scale and increase the profitability of their logistics operations, Chris Preboth has leveraged the experience he gained while in numerous leadership positions within various departments and locations during his 15 years at CH Robinson to set record profits and growth for Shipwell. Chris has worked to refocus operations on mapping out and delivering on the needs of those in the Shipwell network to enable them to position themselves as shippers of choice, creating strong partnerships that have generated rapid results for Shipwell Logistics, generating a massive 857% increase in profitability for 2022 over the previous year.

Working tirelessly to help companies gain a better understanding of what the end goal for the supply chain is, Chris has brought many companies into Shipwell’s network that previously had little to no technology backing them up. With much of their operations previously moving through, email, spreadsheets, and phone calls, Chris has helped these organizations access the technology needed to be able to truly see their supply chain and better understand their costs, where they are doing well, and where they have room for improvement, and ultimately deliver a more efficient shipping experience.

Jerome Holbus

A designer and implementor of over 50 supply chain solutions, Jerry Holbus is the VP of Product at Shipwell. Tireless in his support for the value that AI/ML solutions and the fine-tuning of business processes and performance measures can deliver to business, Jerry is an innovator with his eye firmly fixed on the future of the industry. 

Prior to Shipwell, Jerry was part of an early team of 30 engineers and scientists that developed and implemented leading-edge supply chain management solutions that dominated a $10 billion industry. Repeating the success as the company’s first expatriate co-building a European organization from 3 to 300 persons in 4 years, Jerry has constantly demonstrated his aptitude for uncovering new ways to innovate and accelerate revenue growth.
